What Type of Skin Care Product Should I Use?
In the skin care industry - we divide skin types in to 3 group - dry, oily, and sensitive. Of course, if you are lucky enough to have none of these skin problems - you fit in to the category of “normal”. Basically, the type of skin care products you should use are dependant on your individual skin type. If you don’t know which one of the above three you are - here’s a few tips and tricks to help you determine.
Dry skin is exactly that - dry. If your skin flakes away, becomes itchy during the day, or is visibly scaley - we would classify your skin as being in this category. It is recommended that you use moisture intensive skin care products, and follow each cleanse up with a good moisturiser. Alternatively, if you develop a shine on your skin - especially around the T-Zone as your day progresses - you may have oily skin. This is common with teenagers, and is a precursor to other problems such as acne. Finally, if your skin stings or forms a rash after you use skin care products - you have sensitive skin. There you have it! Hopefully you can now work out which type you are.
